Chengdu is home of the famous panda refuge. We decided to take a day and explore this place. It was about a 45 minute bus ride from our home. Our friends, the Woods, went with us. Rhonda had met a lady living near us. She is from Chengdu and her husband is from America. They met us at the park. The park is well maintained with lots of pandas enjoying the vegetation. We also were able to see the newborn baby pandas. It was a fun day outing.
